What a great reunion, I had not atteneded one since the 10 year reunion and only was there for the Fri. evening event. It was a blast to see old friends and catch up somewhat. Marland Hansen (from Lutsen) and I have been married for 43 years have two sons and two grandsons, all who live in Lutsen where we live. We spent 7 years in Isle on Mille Lacs Lake early in our marriage. I was trained as an x-ray tech. and now am the bookkeeper for Lutsen Mounntains Ski area and Eagle Ridge Resort and PaPaCharlies Restaurant and expect to retire in about a year and 1/2 or sooner if possible.
Many thanks to the reunion committee what a great job well done. We appreciated your very hard work in organizing this wonderful event.
Looking forward to our next get together.

I heard it was GREAT! The reunion! I had so looked forward to it for so long, so was very disappointed that I couldn't make it. My son turned the big 40 on Thurs. the 22nd in Door Ct. Wisc. so this is where we were. I do hope you are planning to have a 50th. What a super website, I intend to veiw it often. Thanks for whoever is putting it together. Joan I. Pruder - 07-24-2004
Friday, July 23rd, 2004: We had a wonderful turnout for our evening at Spirit-Mountain. It was wonderful to see everyone. We really needed to see the name-tags though. We have all changed some-what, but we recognised peoples smiles, and expressions, when we began to visit. Saturday night always is a challenge, when we have couples, to know who is who. Be sure to wear your name-tags. Joanie Joan I. Wilson, Pruder - 07-23-2004
Today, is the day! Betty Nelson,Selness,Fabbro, and I are going to dinner, and we will be at Spirit Mt., in time for the pictures at 8:00pm. We are excited to see our classmates. We are all younger than our parents were at this age! Right? Glenn, and I still live in Lakeside/Duluth, and our Son Paul, and family live in Florida, my daughter Julia, lives in Colorado. We have 5 grandchildren, ages 17--to almost 4 years. (4 grandaughters, and one grandson). Glenn, and I have been away in Ontario, and just got home Wednesday.
Like others have said, life is busy, and in our retirement, we wonder when we found time to work. See you Later! Joanie Phillip Erickson - 07-23-2004
Imagine that, the greatest high school class from the greatest decade of the 20th century gathering once again. We made it through adolescence at the same time and, I am confident, have each had remarkable lives to tell about. The best is yet to come. Ruth Ann Busse Kempf - 07-21-2004
A huge thank you to all the members of the reunion committee for all of their hard work and for this wonderful web site which Claudia Mudd said I had to go in to(although I don't see a note from her). I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Bob and I have been back to the Mpls. area for about 22 years now. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and they all live within a couple of miles of us. Love it. Bob retired but went back to work and I am still working. Again thanks to the committee. Glenn Lillmars - 07-20-2004
I'm looking forwawrd to seeing all of you in Duluth this weekend. Paging through the Oracle brought back a host of great memories. Thanks to the committe for puting the reunion together. Can't believe it was 45 years ago. Carole Bertram McDonald - 06-26-2004
I, too, can't wait to see all my old friends at our 45th reunion. Thanks to the committee for all your hard work. I'm also looking forward to the 'air-conditioned' city of Duluth. It has been in the 80s here in Eagle River, Alaska for a week. We Alaskans are just not used to that temp. Karen Purbaugh Barnett - 06-16-2004
I won't be able to attend the reunion so I'll have to say hello to everyone right here. Have a wonderful time catching up, getting reacquainted, telling stories, etc. - and take lots of photos which you will, of course, post here afterwards! Thanks to our hard working committee - this site is fantastic! Bud Hargraves - 06-15-2004
Looking foward to seeing everyone!! Marlys Hoglund Wood - 06-14-2004
Thanks to the committee for including Bob and I. We moved to Minneapolis after a four-year stay in Texas. I retired from Northwest Airlines in 1996. Although we bought a retirement condo in Sarasota, Florida in 1997, we have not had much time to injoy it. We are still working! That's what happens to people who don't have hobbies, they just keep on working. See you at the reunion. Gail Braff McKenna - 06-02-2004
Hello everyone! It was so fun to click on this section and read what you all have to share. I, too, am anticipating this reunion and all that goes with it. We moved to the Pacific Northwest 28 years ago and I love this area, although I fall back in love with Duluth each time I visit. My three children have all stayed in the Washington/Oregon area and I am happy that I can stay involved with them and my grandson. I retired from education two years ago and was hired back part-time for one year, but now I am fully retired which has come to mean I don't seem to find time for all of the hobbies I was saving for retirement - like many of the rest of you!

This is the greatest web site...thank you all you dear committee members. It is not easy to get us dispersed parties to repond is it? We are in Spartanburg SC...enjoying another wonderful part of this country. Yes, we do golf and are enjoying a new set of friends. After 40 years of marriage we've have a lot of memories and it will be good to be together with old friends. Our childrem have settled in Seattle and Great Barrington MA so we do a lot of traveling. See you soon! Looking forward to the air conditioned city. It's May and 95 here! Marjorie Myerchin Slutz - 05-11-2004
Thanks so much for getting this all together, all concerned! I haven't seen or kept in touch with most of you since I moved to Ohio after graduation. I am sooo looking forward to seeing everyone in July. I've retired from 41 years of nursing but keep very busy with my husband, Neal, our 4 kids and their families...8 grandkids. We are very blessed to have them all live in the area that we do. I could say so much more, but will wait till July.
